Foodbank New South Wales

Volunteers

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS continues ...........

Foodbank NSW could not operate successfully without the daily support and “helping hands” of our individual Volunteers who assist us in the Foodbank Distribution Centre at Wetherill Park.

Volunteering at Foodbank means you’ll make a meaningful contribution, possibly gain new skills, meet new people, and most of all help Foodbank get food to over 50,000 people in need every day.

  • Duties include: picking and packing of food orders and and other general light warehouse functions.
  • Volunteers also give support in Foodbank's administration office and in turn receive valuable hands on experience and  on the job training.
  • Volunteers should wear casual clothes and must wear closed shoes for safety.
  • The warehouse operates under OH&S and Food Safety rules and is covered by Public Liability Insurance.

We provide a clean, safe and happy work environment and are always seeking volunteers to help us cope with the increasing demand from the charities we serve.

Please contact Foodbank on phone 9756 3099 if you are interested in volunteering.
