January 18, 2016

The Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac is not just Sydney’s favourite sporting event, it is the world’s largest run and is taking place on Sunday, August 14, 2016.

Since 1971 Sydneysiders have been joined by participants from all over the world, elite athletes rubbing shoulders with locals to run, walk or watch the 14km race from Hyde Park in Sydney’s CBD to the finish at spectacular Bondi Beach.

When you run for Foodbank NSW & ACT, through a process called collaborative supply, we turn every $1 we receive into $7 worth of food. So if you raise $500 for us that’s $3,500 worth of food you’ll be providing to struggling Aussies and their children!

Once registered on Everyday Hero, we encourage you to create a team for your friends or colleagues to fundraise together or if you’re running on your own to join Team Foodbank.
